NEVER HURT YOUR BACK AGAIN WHILE CLEANING WITH ONLY 2 EASY TIPS

Whether it's emptying the dishwasher, carrying the laundry basket, vacuuming, or taking out the garbage, your back can suffer if you're not careful.

There's a reason why we associate cleaning of our home with a chore. It's time consuming, it's not pleasant, and it often leaves you feeling exhausted and sore. But that was before. Today, cleaning has changed and with some simple tips and good tools, it is possible to make cleaning floors more pleasant and especially less harmful to the back.

Discover our tips to never suffer again from cleaning.

1/ Adopt the right gestures

On top of everything, a good posture is essential. Let’s be honest with it, we are all aware that we shouldn’t bend over to clean but rather bend our legs and keep our back straight.

In the meantime, when you have to clean under furniture, it’s better to squat or kneeling down to take the strain off your back. Conversely, if you must clean windows, avoid reaching for the top of the glass and instead use a chair or step stool.

Finally, when you are cleaning or vacuuming the floor, always move back and forth and not from left to right to avoid twisting the spine.

Once you adopt the right gesture, you must be careful not to keep carrying around heavy loads. A full bucket of water in one hand and vacuum cleaner in the other is not ideal for your back. So obviously, you want to go fast to finish this chore of cleaning. But this is the best way to hurt yourself.

Rather than that, prefer to use a multifunctional mop as our slipper mops Footsies. Which leads to our second tips.

2/ Use adapted equipment

Quality equipment plays a huge role in the posture and well-being of your back. I’m sure you know that to avoid back pain when cleaning, you need equipment that is adapted to your body type first.

For example, the size of the handles of brooms and other squeegees is very important. To be ergonomic, the handle must be at shoulder height.

Of course, the easiest way to avoid breaking your back while cleaning with the right equipment is to rely on our Footsies slipper mops.

Our Footsies made of soft microfiber chenille capture dust and wipe wet in a second.

Never bend or kneel again to clean,  wear them barefoot, over your shoes, on a broom, on your favorite mop hand or on your hand to make cleaning effortless no matter the surface.

Keep your floors, carpets and more clean with our Footsies slippers mop without any efforts.
